At this year’s Business Travel Show, Matthew Judge of travel and operational risk company, Anvil, takes to the stage with Heather Pennock of ABTA to present a fundamental seminar session entitled “Safety and security – a best practice guide for beginners”. Ideal for those who may be fairly new to the role of ensuring safety for travellers or who may work for an organisation without an established travel risk management programme in place, the session will also provide some useful reminders for all who may have travel risk as part of their remit.
From falling unwell or suffering a road traffic accident, to experiencing a severe weather event or terrorist attack, there are a myriad of situations that today’s business travellers can find themselves in. Whatever the incident, travel managers and their travellers need to be prepared and know how best to respond. This thought provoking session, jointly delivered by two industry experts, will lay out the basics and provide a best practice guide to ensuring the safety and security of business travellers, wherever they may be.
The session will take place on Thursday 21 February, 13:00-14:00 in the Olympia Room.
